During the year 2019-20 health checkup camps were held at Haripur and Dandabadi, the
remot,e area! of Koraput district. The people of nearby villages gathered. The health check up
was conducted by private doctors specialized in medicine and paediatric. For this purpose, the
Drivate Doctors w-eie hired. Apart from the same the ANM of this organisation as well as ANM of
koraout Development Foundation, who was spared, were utilized in the camp.
ln remote villages the villagers suffer from Malaria due to lack of sanitation at home and in the sunoundings. -Such are becoming the breeding ground for mosquitoes. This organisation in collaboration with Koraput Development Foundation, Jeypore, and the Awareness Programme were conducted at Dumuriguda of Boipariguda Block. The villagers of nearby villages participated in the campaign. The ANMs of both the organizations vividly explained about i<eeping cleanliness of home, surrounding and the environment. They also explained how to burn the garbage and disinfect the drainage and water logging areas. Finally, they were advised to procure medicated mosquito net from the health workers who are authorized to provide such mosquito nets which are being supplied by the Govt
A programme on AIDS awareness was held at Mrnarbali. The villagers from the nearby villages attended. The ANM and other officials of this organisation explained the villagers about the reasons as to how people suffer from AIDS. They were also explained about the ways and means to be adopted to eradicate AIDS by taking advice of the Health Workers working in their areas.
